Job summary

ALTIA is seeking an Operations Engineer to support the daily operation of business applications and their infrastructure across virtual, cloud, and hybrid platforms.

You will work in an international project environment with a senior profile and a focus on incident resolution, deployments, monitoring, patches, security, and automation via scripting and IaC.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree (EQF 7) with at least 15 years IT experience.
• Automation scripting: Bash, PowerShell or Python with 12+ years.
• PHP: 12+ years.
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle 8+ years.
• Full-stack Software Engineer: 2+ years in Mobility/Transport and/or Energy domains.
• Cloud & Observability: 2+ years with AWS, Azure or OVH and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• English: very good knowledge (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and ensure continuity of business applications.
• Deploy releases and manage infrastructure changes.
• Monitor systems, perform patching and security maintenance.
• Automate tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an Operations Engineer with solid experience in multicultural and cross-functional environments.

You will join an innovative international project with an international organization.

The role involves an Operations Engineer (Senior) to support the daily operation of business applications and the infrastructure they run on (virtual, cloud, and hybrid platforms). Key tasks include incident resolution, release deployment, monitoring, patching, security maintenance, and automation through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Must-haves for this challenge:

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification and professional IT experience levels :

• Master’s Degree (EQF 7): Minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Necessary Knowledge (Specific Expertise):
• Automation Scripting: Minimum 12 years (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
• PHP: Minimum 12 years
• Relational Databases: Minimum 8 years (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
• Full-stack Software Engineer: Minimum 2 years in Mobility/Transport and/or Energy domains
• Cloud & Observability: Minimum 2 years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OVH) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Languages: Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
