WLG seeks an experienced platform engineer to own the engineering behind open-source threat-intelligence sharing core instances in Mons, Belgium. You will maintain, extend and support the installations used in exercises, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability.

You will lead a team of platform operators, develop automation in Python, and work with the open-source community. A strong background in LAMP, Ansible, and security is required.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of practical experience across deployment and platform operations.
• Architecting deployment solutions for complex threat-sharing platforms.
• Coordinating a small engineering group to deliver reliable services.
• System administration on LAMP servers (Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP).
• Configuring web applications and scripting in Python.
• Building MVC web apps in PHP with SQL back-end.

Responsabilités

• Proactively managing and maintaining platforms behind the threat-sharing platform.
• Stand up, configure and run dedicated instances for exercises.
• Keep software current and support test/validation behind change management.
• Configure and extend monitoring across installations.
• Maintain Ansible playbooks and deployment scripts.
• Develop Python scripts to automate the platform and integrate with security tools.
• Lead a team of platform operators during exercises.
