Wlgroup in Mons, Belgium seeks a senior platform engineer to own the engineering behind the defence alliance’s core threat‑intelligence platform instances, keep them running, extend them, and support day‑to‑day operations.

You will lead a team of operators during exercises, coordinating with managers and contributing to deployment architectures, automation scripts, and security practices.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a related discipline with three years of related experience — or, exceptionally, ten years of progressive expertise in this kind of work.
• Professional English is required.
• Ten years of practical experience across architecture deployment, team coordination, and system administration are expected.

Responsabilités

• Proactively managing and maintaining the servers behind the platform with strong focus on confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Standing up, configuring and running dedicated instances for exercises.
• Keeping software current and supporting test and validation work behind change management.
• Configuring and extending monitoring around every installation.
• Maintaining Ansible playbooks that build and configure everything.
• Writing and improving documentation for clarity and usefulness.
• Developing and maintaining Python scripts to automate the platform and integrate with surrounding systems.
• Coordinating the work of a small group of engineers during exercises and user management tasks.
