Wlgroup in Belgium seeks an experienced QA engineer to oversee quality assurance for a multinational defence organisation's threat-intelligence platform deployments and integrations around it. You will work with service delivery, engineering managers, sysadmins, developers and data engineers, ensuring tests reflect real conditions and that findings drive concrete improvements.

The role involves configuring platform instances, occasional production operations, coordinating with external community

Qualifications

Five+ years developing and executing software test strategies.
Experience with test automation and API testing.
Proficient in Python scripting.
Basic Linux, Apache and MySQL/MariaDB operations.
Experience configuring web applications.
Solid understanding of security principles and practices.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or 10 years progressive experience).

Responsabilités

Configure and manage dedicated platform instances and the infrastructure they test on.
Occasional basic operations on production instances.
Assess work against standards and identify non-compliance, then analyze causes.
Plan and manage testing: environment, test cases, scenarios, coverage.
Document, analyse and report results to drive action.
Occasional user-community support on managed production instances.
Coordinate test activity with the core project team and external parties.
