Responsibilities

Service description:

Elia is looking for an IT developer for several implementation tasks with our Asset Control Concept (ACC) project. This project is of high importance for Elia in order to improve the maintenance process of the assets of our electrical network.
The main goal of the mission is to handle dynamic and static data gathered from our assets and stored into a historian: implement analytics, prepare reports, create dashboard screens.

• Read, understand, challenge and discuss functional and technical requirements provided by the Data Manager and other stakeholders.
• Design, implement and maintain analytics in the OSIsoft PI System, including PI AF, for calculations on historian data such as asset Health Index calculations.
• Configure and maintain notifications, templates, asset models and other PI System components.
• Design and further develop the PI System architecture, ensuring a robust, scalable and maintainable solution.
• Take ownership of PI System monitoring and operational health, including performance, availability, data flows and interfaces, and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis (with the support of Victoria Metrics).
• Create complex Excel reports using OSIsoft PI DataLink or PI Integrator, as well as dashboards and visualizations using PI Vision, Angular or Grafana. Ensure technical consistency through standards, reusable components, documentation and good configuration practices.
• Prepare future integrations of the ACCplatform with MS Azure technology, as well as with new IEC61850 data integration from substations.
• Demonstrate and discuss solutions with users and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and required changes.
• For a Senior profile, take technical ownership of the PI landscape, drive architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Additional requirements:

• Experience in scripting languages.
• Very good knowledge and practical use of Excel (VBA, macros, pivots, etc).
• Keen on learning tools and techniques.
• Be efficient, creative, methodical, result oriented.
• Good communication skills, team oriented.
• Senior profile (5-10 years’ experience)
• Senior knowledge of OSIsoft PI historian is required.
• Languages: fluency in spoken and written English is a must (technical documentation is in English), active knowledge of Dutch and French.
