Job summary

Jan De Nul is seeking a Security Officer to represent the company on site in Mons. You will manage access and control of the construction site, deliver security briefings, escort visitors, and ensure compliance with QSHE and safety regulations.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering Construction or related field, 10 years in construction, fluency in French and English, and preferably an individual security clearance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering Construction, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Preferably hold an individual security clearance (National Secret level).

Responsibilities

• Manage access to and control of the construction site.
• Conduct security briefings during onboarding.
• Escort visitors on site.
• Contribute to development of procedures and working methods for the project site.
• Ensure safety regulations, quality standards and project schedules are implemented.
• Act as primary contact for day-to-day operations and the Control Room.
• Monitor compliance with QSHE policy and propose improvements.
• Support toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Prepare material requirement lists, quality control, inspection certificates, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain administrative follow-up of Construction Security Plan documentation.
