Job summary

IDT in Leuven, Belgium, is hiring a Technician II to support oligonucleotide production in the Column Based Synthesis department on the night shift. You will contribute to synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, desalting, purification, QC sampling and final processing under supervision.

The role requires a science degree and 0–2 years lab experience, plus Dutch and English language fluency. You will operate DNA/RNA synthesizers and HPLC, perform calibrations and routine maintenance, and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science related field required or preferred.
• 0-2 years of working experience in a wet-lab setting.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; or fluent in English.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Punctual and accurate work style.

Responsibilities

• Perform synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, desalting, purification and QC sampling of oligonucleotides.
• Operate DNA/RNA synthesizers, HPLC and related lab instruments.
• Carry out calibration, maintenance and cleaning of designated equipment.
