Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, seeks a Technician II for the Column Based Synthesis department in Leuven, Belgium. This on-site night-shift position involves performing core oligonucleotide synthesis steps, QC sampling, and instrument operation under the supervision of the department supervisor.

The role requires a science-related bachelor’s degree, 0–2 years of experience, and fluency in English (Dutch helpful).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science related field is preferred.
• 0-2 years of working experience required.
• Fluency in Dutch and proficient in English, or fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, desalting, purification, quantification, QC sampling and/or final processing of oligonucleotides.
• Operate DNA/RNA synthesizers, HPLC’s and other lab instruments as needed.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, and cleaning tasks on designated equipment.
