DEME Offshore is seeking a Lead Engineer Offshore Wind to spearhead engineering for offshore wind installation projects. You will guide preparation to execution, translate theory into practical site actions, and drive safe, efficient operations on global projects.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Marine or Dredging Engineering background, offshore installation experience, and fluency in English. Willingness to travel aboard vessels and work on-site is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Dredging Engineering.
• Experience in subsea cable installation or offshore wind installation projects.
• Willing to work abroad on vessels, project sites, and in the office.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsabilités

• Drive the engineering, preparation, and execution of offshore wind installation projects.
• Develop detailed method statements to ensure safe and efficient offshore operations.
• Review and validate Orcaflex analyses performed by the engineering team.
• Review engineering reports, procedures, manuals, and method statements.
• Prepare work packs for project execution.
• Translate theory into practice on site, optimizing and leading operations.
• Support the project with ad-hoc operational needs and respond to project management queries.
• Ensure planning, reporting, cost management and budget follow-up.

Your responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will take the engineering lead for offshore wind projects, from preparation to execution:

• Drive the engineering, preparation, and execution of our offshore wind installation projects
• Develop detailed method statements to ensure safe and efficient operations offshore
• Review and validate Orcaflex analyses performed by the engineering team
• Review engineering reports, procedures, manuals, and method statements
• Prepare work packs for project execution

Your profile
