Start People is looking for an experienced ocean freight specialist in Antwerp. In this role, you will prepare shipping documentation and ensure accurate administration while providing top-notch customer service to shipping agencies and clients.

The position requires at least 2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding and excellent command of English. A permanent contract with a competitive salary and various benefits is offered. Join a supportive team environment!

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding.
• Strong documentation and Letter of Credit knowledge.
• Good computer skills with basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a team and under time pressure.

Responsabilités

• Prepare shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, and Insurance certificates.
• Check documents and ensure accurate administration.
• Maintain contacts with shipping agencies and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow-up.

Connaissances

Ocean freight forwarding experience

Documentation and Letter of Credit knowledge

Familiarity with Incoterms

Computer skills (Excel, Word)

Excellent command of English

Communication skills
