Syngenia is seeking a Project Engineer for significant projects related to spent nuclear fuel management and decommissioning. The role includes drafting quotation requests, contract follow-ups, and providing technical expertise to customers and plant operators.

Ideal candidates should possess an engineering degree and at least 6 years of experience, including 2 years in the nuclear sector. Fluency in French and/or Dutch, and English is essential, while a proactive approach is encouraged.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Draft requests for quotation and support customers during negotiations.
• Follow up on contracts from start to acceptance tests.
• Assist customers and plant operators in discussions with authorities.
• Review safety files for spent fuel and radioactive waste.

Connaissances

Engineering degree in mechanics, electro-mechanics or nuclear physics

Mission

In The Framework Of The Current Major Projects Related To Spent Nuclear Fuel Management, Emptying Of Deactivation Pools And Decommissioning, The Project Engineer Will Be In Charge Of The Following Activities In Close Relation With The Project Managers And The Customers

• Drafting of requests for quotation, bid evaluation and Customer support for negotiation
• Contract follow-up from the kick-off meeting to site delivery and acceptance tests;
• Equipment Manufacturing follow-up in close cooperation with the Quality Surveillance group and with the Customer;
• Assisting and technical expertise in support of Customers and Plant Operators;
• Assisting the plant operator and the Customer in meeting and technical discussions with the Belgian Safety Authorities;
• Organizing of and participating into reviewing activities of safety files for spent fuel and radioactive waste casks and damaged spent fuel treatment

Profile

• You have an engineering degree in mechanics, electro-mechanics or nuclear physics
• You have 6 year experience with at least 2 years working experience in the nuclear sector
• You are interested in design, manufacturing and site operation activities
• You have a very good level of French and/or Dutch and English
• You are proactive, assertive, self-controlled personality
