NN in Brussels is seeking a Non-Financial Risk Officer to partner with business lines on risk management, controls, and continuous improvement. You will work across processes, data, and governance to strengthen the risk culture and ensure effective risk management practices.

You will analyze risk data, support incident management, and drive standardization and automation initiatives while ensuring timely reporting and robust control evidence.

Responsabilités

• Strengthen risk management by facilitating risk assessments and supporting process owners in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks
• Coordinate incident management with IT and stakeholders; track issues, action plans, and risk indicators
• Collaborate with business teams and second-line functions; support reporting, documentation, and control evidence activities
• Analyze risk, incident, and control data and translate analyses into dashboards and management insights
• Contribute to standardization, automation, digitalization, data analytics, and continuous improvement of processes and controls

What does your job as a Non-Financial Risk Officer look like?

As a Non-Financial Risk Officer, you are an important business partner who helps manage risks, strengthen processes, and support the organization through change and continuous improvement. You work at the intersection of risks, processes, controls, and stakeholders, and contribute directly to a strong and future-oriented risk culture.

Your responsibilities are:

Strengthening Risk Management

• Facilitate Quarterly Risk Assessments and Process Risk Assessments (PRAs)
• Support process owners in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks
• Provide advice on process changes, projects, and system enhancements

Monitoring Risks, Controls, and Incidents

• Coordinate incident management together with IT and other stakeholders
• Track issues, action plans, and risk indicators
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of the Effective Control Framework (ECF)

Connecting Stakeholders and Supporting Governance

• Collaborate with business teams, ORM, Compliance, AFO, DPO, and other second-line functions
• Support reporting, documentation, and control evidence activities
• Monitor deadlines, priorities, and the quality of deliverables

Turning Data into Insight

• Analyze risk, incident, and control data
• Translate analyses into clear recommendations, dashboards, and management insights
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement

Continuously Improving Processe

• Contribute to the ongoing professionalization of processes and controls
• Explore opportunities for standardization, automation, digitalization, data analytics, and AI
