Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join the production site in East Flanders. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated machinery, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and implement repairs to minimise downtime.

Ideal candidates will have strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with PLCs, pneumatics, sensors and motors, and the ability to work a permanent night shift while taking ownership of

Qualifications

• Experience as Electromechanical / Maintenance / Breakdown Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with industrial or production machinery.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, sensors and motors.
• Willing to work permanent night shift.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of breakdowns.
• Based within a commutable distance of East Flanders.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production machinery
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical breakdowns
• Fault-finding across motors, sensors, drives and control systems
• Working with pneumatics and PLC-controlled equipment
• Carrying out repairs and technical improvements
• Keeping production equipment running efficiently and minimising downtime

What do you need?

• Experience as an Electromechanical / Maintenance / Breakdown Technician
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Experience working with industrial or production machinery
• Confident diagnosing and repairing technical breakdowns
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, sensors and motors
• Comfortable working a permanent night shift
• Able to work independently and take ownership of breakdowns
• Based within a commutable distance of East Flanders
• Experience within food, FMCG or automated manufacturing would be a big advantage.
