Darwin Recruitment is seeking experienced Electromechanical Technicians to join a highly automated manufacturing environment in East Flanders. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fault-find and repair PLC-controlled equipment, motors and sensors, and support ongoing improvements to minimise downtime.

The role emphasises strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, hands-on repair of production machinery, and the ability to work independently while owning breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electromechanical, Maintenance or Breakdown Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with industrial or production machinery.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, motors and sensors.
• Based within commutable distance of East Flanders.
• Experience in food FMCG or automated manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and repair breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, motors, sensors and drives.
• Support improvements to reduce equipment downtime.
• Conduct fault-finding and repair of automated production lines.

What will you be doing?

• Preventive & corrective maintenance

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding

• Troubleshooting automated production machinery

• Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns

• Working with PLC-controlled equipment, motors, sensors, drives and pneumatics

• Supporting improvements and reducing equipment downtime

What do you need?

• Experience as an Electromechanical, Maintenance or Breakdown Technician

• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge

• Experience working with industrial or production machinery

• Confident troubleshooting and repairing technical faults

• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, motors and sensors

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of breakdowns

• Based within a commutable distance of East Flanders

Experience within food FMCG or automated manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.
