Responsibilities
- Own, meet and achieve the individual revenue target (forecast and report out of targets and budgets).
- Target new clients via different channels and grow the business within the existing client portfolio, prioritise client visits based on sales potential and build a sustainable external network.
- Identify upselling opportunities by creating leads for retail measurement data and more advanced/customised NIQ services to transform ad‑hoc relationships into continuous partnerships.
- Execute end‑to‑end sales process from feasibility analysis, including pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals and closing the sale.
- Monitor progress against revenue target with tenacity and correct course quickly where necessary by maximising the available CRM tools.
- Utilise creatively the tools available within the wider organisation to generate leads and build an internal network.
- Develop pragmatic engagement plans for the key prospects and clients in your portfolio.
- Ensure that all sales materials, including proposals, software and service demos, are consistent and demonstrate best‑in‑class quality within the industry.
- Initiate and drive projects to bring new product/market combinations successfully to the market.
- Work with other NIQ departments to ensure alignment and buy‑in.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of the dynamics of the Belgian T&D business.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Proven sales experience with strong commercial and relationship‑management skills.
- Experience in Market Research and/or T&D Trade/Category management is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiar with the specifications and usage of retail tracking business services within the market.
- Skillful in driving client interest and new business through creative proposal and solution creation, resulting in high client satisfaction levels.
- Easy connecting with (potential) clients and ability to build and maintain an own network among assigned clients and prospects.
- Both short‑term and long‑term results‑oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to read others’ styles and adapt behaviour accordingly.
- Language requirements: Dutch, English, French ideally but at least two of these.
What we offer
35,400 to 50,000 gross per year, including holiday allowance and the 13th monthly payment. This role might also be eligible for a sales‑based incentive or performance‑based bonus.
