Job summary

Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a senior software tester to join the information and communication systems team for a short-term project. You will identify, define, and execute testing strategies for a large-scale data recognition system, collaborating with developers to create detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing, experience with multiple test types, defect tracking, and automated testing.

Qualifications

5+ years of software testing experience including test planning, scenario development, and scripting.
Experience with functional, technical, acceptance, and regression testing.
Proven defect tracking experience and documenting technical findings.
Knowledge of automated testing and various test tools.
Understanding of test data management and diverse IT environments.
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

Responsibilities

Identify and define functional, technical, acceptance, and regression testing requirements.
Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts in collaboration with the development team.
Execute and document manual and automated tests to track software defects.
Prepare comprehensive reports on testing progress, results, and analysis.
Maintain automated testing suites to ensure efficient error detection and system stability.
Create application documentation including release notes for project stakeholders.
