Job summary

HumanInTech in Brussels is seeking an analyst-tester to join a multidisciplinary team on a Belgian public-sector IT programme that manages intelligent camera systems for number plate recognition and data matching.

You will draft test plans, execute tests across functional, technical and regression scopes, maintain automated tests, document findings, and report progress with developers and business analysts.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on software testing experience.
• Experience with automated testing and test tools.
• Understanding of test data and different test environments.
• Basic technical insight into IT systems and applications.
• Experience with functional, technical, acceptance and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication in Dutch, French and English.
• Methodical, accurate and thorough working style.
• Eagerness to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Insight into priorities and planning.

Responsibilities

• Drafting test plans and detailed test scenarios
• Executing and re-testing according to test scripts
• Maintaining automated testing to detect problems quickly and efficiently
• Documenting findings and any errors discovered
• Preparing reports on progress and results
• Recommending testing types, strategies and environments
• Collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure safe operation
• Signalling structural problems and updating documentation
