Job summary

Mantu Group SA is seeking an analytical scientist to advance qPCR and ELISA methods for host cell impurity analysis within a global biologics network. You will manage method transfers from R&D to MSAT, support QC handovers, and design robust experiments to ensure regulatory-compliant method performance.

You will independently develop and validate analytical methods for multiple production processes, produce protocols and reports, and contribute to data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on qPCR and ELISA expertise for host cell impurity analysis.
• Proven record in analytical method development, qualification and validation.
• Knowledge of protein characterization techniques like SDS-PAGE and blotting.
• Experience designing DoE studies with statistical analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of cGMP and translating regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as an expert in analytical qPCR and ELISA for host cell impurity analysis.
• Oversee handover of analytical methods from R&D to MSAT with documentation and training.
• Guide the transfer of validated methods to QC, including protocols and reports.
• Design, develop, and validate analytical methods for existing and new processes.
• Independent design of experiments and comprehensive analytical studies.
• Prepare high-quality study protocols and technical reports.
• Maintain critical technical documentation and communicate results.
• Perform data trending and monitor method performance.
• Conduct root cause investigations into analytical deviations.
• Present results in team meetings.
• Support small-scale laboratory testing activities.
