Netcompany SEE & BELUX is seeking a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and optimize SharePoint 2016/2019 environments, admin Windows Server infrastructure, and develop PowerShell automation. You will implement governance, security, and incident remediation while collaborating with IT and business teams.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus. Join a diverse team supporting European institutions and large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on SharePoint 2016/2019 administration in mid/large organisations.
• Strong Windows Server administration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience writing PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Understanding identity management, authentication and access controls.
• SharePoint structure, permissions, and governance knowledge.
• Familiar with SQL Server components supporting SharePoint.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English; French is a plus.

Are you ready to discover the role of a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist in Netcompany?

As a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist, you will:

• Maintain and optimize enterprise SharePoint 2016/2019 platforms, ensuring stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Execute deployment, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management activities across SharePoint environments.
• Administer Windows-based server infrastructure supporting collaboration services and business applications.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell to streamline administrative activities and support operational processes.
• Implement governance, security controls, and compliance measures in line with organisational and Microsoft standards.
• Analyse, diagnose, and remediate incidents affecting platform availability, user access, authentication, or system performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business users to deliver support, knowledge transfer, and operational guidance.
• Review platform health, assess technical risks, and apply updates or improvements to maintain a secure and resilient environment.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor's degree, higher education diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, combined with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience;
• Hands‑on experience managing and supporting SharePoint 2016/2019 environments within medium to large organisations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platforms, including administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts for administration, automation, and operational support.
• Understanding of identity management, authentication methods, access control models, and security best practices.
• Proven ability to manage SharePoint structure, permissions, content organisation, and platform governance.
• Familiarity with SQL Server components and databases supporting SharePoint solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate technical issues and deliver effective resolutions.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
