As a Medior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of digital platforms, APIs, and cloud-based applications at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. You will work closely with business analysts, product owners, software developers, and operational stakeholders to ensure that new functionalities meet both functional and non-functional requirements. This role will be carried out under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model.
All consultants/freelancers employed at the client site will undergo a security screening process. This screening involves a comprehensive investigation into the background and reliability of an individual, utilizing various judicial and police databases. The aim is to assess whether a person is trustworthy to perform a critical function and/or gain access to sensitive infrastructure. The screening pertains to various sectors, including the port sector. Upon submitting a proposal, the supplier must agree to propose only consultants willing to undergo this security investigation. The process may take up to 30 days, and the supplier accepts this waiting period while ensuring the candidate remains available throughout the screening process. Only the consultants selected by the client for this contract will be subjected to the security investigation. ProUnity will contact the supplier to request the contact details of the accepted consultants. After receiving this information, the client's security officer will reach out to the accepted consultants to request their explicit consent for the security investigation. The security officer will forward the individual request for security investigation to the competent Federal Police, which will prepare a security advice based on the investigation. A negative security advice will be communicated to the involved consultant through the client's security officer, stating the reasons for this decision, except for information that could harm the fundamental interests of Belgium or the State. The notification will also include information on the possibility of appeal against this decision. If there is no positive security result (for example, when no advice can be given) from the Federal Police, the vacancy will be terminated without contracting. If the positive security advice is lost during the contract period, the contract will be terminated without any compensation.
