Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to drive product development from lab prototypes to manufacturing. You will design mechanical systems, manage BOMs, run calculations, and coordinate with suppliers and global teams.

In this hybrid role, you will apply ISO, PED, and ASME standards, support production and field installations, and contribute to continuous improvement with a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with 3D CAD software: Creo, Inventor, SolidWorks.
• Strong affinity for mechanical design and thermodynamics.
• Ability to set priorities, work independently, iterative design.
• Open communicator with cross-functional networks.
• Hands-on team player with ownership mindset.

Responsabilités

• Specify, design, and optimize mechanical and thermodynamical systems (3D CAD).
• Build BOMs, run design calculations, and perform risk analyses.
• Define test programs and oversee prototype testing.
• Coordinate with suppliers and production for manufacturability.
• Support field installations and implement permanent solutions.
