Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to drive product development from prototype to manufacturing. You will design and optimize mechanical and thermodynamical systems, create BOMs, perform calculations, and lead test programs while coordinating with international facilities.

The role requires strong CAD skills, a passion for engineering, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Good proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo, Inventor, SolidWorks) is a strong advantage.
• Strong affinity for mechanical design, thermodynamics, structural calculations, ISO/PED/ASME.

Responsabilités

• Specify, design, and optimize mechanical and thermodynamical systems and components in 3D CAD.
• Build and maintain BOMs, perform design calculations, conduct risk analyses.
• Define test programs, prepare assembly instructions, and follow up prototype testing.
• Support production and field installations by troubleshooting and implementing permanent solutions.
