Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to drive product development from prototype to production. You will design and optimize mechanical and thermodynamic systems, build BOMs, and manage tests and supplier interactions within a hybrid work model.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong English, and 3D CAD experience (Creo/Inventor/SolidWorks). Dutch is a plus; you will collaborate across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• Strong proficiency in English; Dutch a plus.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo, Inventor, SolidWorks) is a strong advantage.

Responsabilités

• Specify, design, and optimize mechanical and thermodynamical systems and components.
• Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and perform design calculations.
• Define test programs and follow up prototype testing; interact with suppliers and standards (ISO, PED, ASME).
