Atlas Copco Group is seeking an engineer to join the Energy Conversion solutions team within the Oil-Free Air division. You will drive design and optimization of mechanical and thermodynamic systems, collaborate across departments, and help bring products from idea to production.

English fluency and product development experience are essential; Dutch is a plus. International collaboration with global facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent by experience.
• Strong general technical knowledge and a passion for industrial design.
• Knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, E-plan and Siemens TIA/Simatic is a plus.
• Fluent English communication across the organization.
• Experience in a product development environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Specify, design and optimize mechanical and thermodynamical systems and components with internal experts.
• Define, program and implement control strategies in software and hardware.
• Develop products and components in 3D-CAD.
• Build and maintain BOMs for projects.
• Define test programs and oversee prototype assembly and testing.
• Apply ISO, PED, ASME and other standards.
• Interact with suppliers to align specifications and deliveries.
• Perform calculations to support design choices.
• Follow up production and field installations, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.
• Share knowledge and perform risk analyses on designs.
