Televic Belgium is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. You will develop high-quality product designs using plastic and metal processes, focusing on manufacturability, performance and reliability, in a fast-growing international environment.

You will collaborate across disciplines, support tooling and robotics, and use Siemens NX and Teamcenter to deliver precise designs. Expect ~40% international travel, a full-time 38-hour week, and a competitive Televic bonus plan

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical design experience in plastic and metal.
• Proficient in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Strong knowledge of design for manufacturability and product development.
• Experience supporting production tooling and automation systems.
• Track record of award-winning designs.

Key responsibilities

• Mechanical Design:Develop high-quality and innovative product designs using both plastic and metal based processing techniques, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining performance and quality.
• Product Development:Apply profound knowledge of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and production.
• Tooling & Robotics Support:Provide support in designing and optimizing production tooling and test robots to meet the needs of manufacturing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with cross-business unit teams to ensure the integration of design requirements and solutions, driving performance, quality, and innovation across projects.
• Siemens NX & Teamcenter Expertise:Utilize Siemens NX and Teamcenter to deliver precise and accurate designs, manage design data, and ensure seamless collaboration within the team.
• Award-Winning Designs:Contribute to the development of products that are recognized on an international scale, including multipleRed Dot Awardsfor design excellence to be the reference in the conference world.

Professional skills we’re looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering, with expertise in both plastic and metal design.
• Proven experience in Siemens NXand Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of product design and development processes, with the ability to optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Experience supporting production tooling and automation systems, particularly in the context of test robots and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated success in creating award-winning designs that push the boundaries of creativity, functionality, and engineering excellence.
• Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for design, engineering and innovation.
