Job summary

Unchained Labs in Ghent, Belgium seeks a full-time Materials Handler to support operations. You will manage materials flow, pick and pack orders, and coordinate shipments with global logistics partners. Based at the Ghent site, you will work with production teams and inventory control to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a high-school diploma, fluency in Dutch and English, and the ability to lift heavy items. A fixed-term contract exists through January with possible extension.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training is a plus.
• Strong Dutch and English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Basic counting and math skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil customer orders using pick lists from stock.
• Secure and pack goods for global shipments.
• Perform shipping and receiving transactions in ERP system.
• Arrange parcel shipments with FedEx, DHL, UPS and other carriers.
• Receive goods from vendors, unpack and inventory update.
• Prepare materials to support production line operations.
• Monitor shipping and receiving dock activities.
• Assist with cycle counts and other inventory tasks.

The Job

We are looking for a full-time Materials Handler to support our Operations team in Ghent, Belgium. You’ll work closely with the people managing the materials flow in and out of the warehouse, the manufacturing teams and our global logistics partners.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil customer orders using pick lists to pull items from stock
• Secure and pack goods for global shipments
• Perform shipping & receiving transactions in our ERP system
• Arrange parcel shipments through Fedex, DHL, UPS, and other global logistics companies
• Receive goods from vendors, unpack and put in inventory
• Picking and preparing materials to support production line operations.
• Monitor shipping and receiving dock
• Assist with cycle counts and other inventory activities
