Tiense Suikerraffinaderij is seeking a Business Controller in Tienen to partner with operations, sales and other departments. You will focus on improving financial reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring cost effectiveness across six factories, and supporting monthly and annual closings.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in economics with 5+ years in controlling, strong IT tool affinity, and fluency in Dutch and English (French appreciated).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (e.g. economics)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business/operational controlling or in an analyst function
• Strong affinity with IT tools, especially Excel pivot tables; experience with reports/dashboards
• Excellent level of spoken and written Dutch and English; good level of French
• Strong competencies in business analytics and understanding of accounting
• Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented approach

Responsabilités

• Develop automatic and easy-speaking cost analyses and dashboards.
• Create added value by making recommendations enabling well-founded business decisions.
• Develop, maintain and follow up on business data (budgets, forecasts, KPIs) and monitor cost efficiencies across the value chain.
• Play an active role in monthly and yearly closings and in the forecasting process.
• Report to the Director Controlling and collaborate with Südzucker Group colleagues.
