Jobat in Belgium is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a leading plastics manufacturer in Gijzegem. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, peripheral equipment and testing systems, in a 2-shift schedule (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).

You will contribute to technical improvements and small-scale projects to raise reliability and efficiency. PLC experience is a plus, and internal training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Technically skilled and eager to learn.
• Experience with PLC systems is a plus.
• Willingness to develop skills and work in a 2-shift system.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, peripheral equipment, and testing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Execute small technical improvement projects independently.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance machine performance and reliability.
• Maintain a safe working environment and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Contribute to housekeeping in workshop and production areas.

For our client in Gijzegem, we are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician m/f/x to work in a 2-shift system (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM). Are you technically skilled, eager to learn, and ready to roll up your sleeves? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for!

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our machinery and production equipment. You will carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, peripheral equipment, and testing systems.

In addition, you will contribute to technical improvements and small-scale projects aimed at increasing the reliability and efficiency of our installations. A positive attitude and willingness to continuously develop your skills are just as important as your technical knowledge. Experience with PLC systems is a plus, and further training will be provided internally.

Your Responsibilities
