Marktlink Antwerp is seeking a full-time Associate to join its Belgian M&A team. You will support entrepreneurs through the entire transaction process from valuation to closing, with immediate responsibility and hands-on client interaction.

You should have a university degree in economics/finance and 1–2 years in M&A or related fields, plus strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluency in Dutch and English. This is a growth-focused, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, audit or equity research.
• Entrepreneurial, socially engaged and combine strategic thinking with commercial awareness.
• Analytical, accurate and driven; know how to set goals and achieve them.
• Team player, but comfortable working independently.
• Eager to learn, highly motivated and always looking to improve.
• Comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint and able to tell a clear story.

Responsabilités

• Map sectors and identify acquisition/investment opportunities by analysing market players, trends, and buyer/seller landscapes.
• Build financial models and business plans, and conduct valuations.
• Write information memorandums, management presentations, and pitch materials.
• Set up and manage digital data rooms and support due diligence processes.
• Interact with potential buyers and sellers, coordinating questions and ongoing dialogue throughout the deal process.
