Marktlink Belgium is recruiting a full-time Associate to join our Antwerp team and contribute to the full M&A transaction cycle—from valuation and market research to deal structuring and closing. The successful candidate will work closely with seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on responsibility from day one in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

A university degree in economics/finance, 1–2 years in related fields, and strong Dutch/English communication are essential, along with

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, audit or equity research.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
• Analytical and accurate with goal-oriented mindset.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint to tell a clear story.

Responsabilités

• Map sectors and identify potential acquisition or investment opportunities by analysing market players, trends, and buyer/seller landscapes.
• Build financial models and business plans, and conduct valuations.
• Write information memorandums, management presentations, and pitch materials.
• Set up and manage digital data rooms and support due diligence processes.
• Interact with buyers and sellers, coordinating questions and ongoing dialogue throughout the deal process.
