Equicty NV, a market-leading SaaS startup in the horse industry, seeks a hands-on CTO to scale our platform and infrastructure. You will own the technical vision, partner with the CEO, and guide an in-house and contracted development team to deliver on ambitious product roadmaps.

Based in Belgium, the role offers a full-time hybrid position, potential equity, and close collaboration with the founder and management team as we continue rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in B2B SaaS environments.
• Deep knowledge of cloud software architecture and scaling SaaS products.
• Strong background in full-stack development, DevOps and API integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and align a technology team with business goals.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and make architectural decisions to ensure strong, stable, and scalable software products
• Partner with our CEO to define, prioritize and realize product roadmap
• Managing in-house software development team, contracted development partners, and head the integrations of partner API's to our platform
• Driving performance, motivation and effectiveness of the software development team
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

Requirements

must haves …

• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Significant experience in cloud software architecture and personally building digital products from early-stage through to scaling and maturity
• Deep knowledge of full-stack modern development practices (ex: DevOps, APIs)
• You have a good sense for leadership (Must)

Nice to haves …

• Experience in project management to ensure timely deliverables
• You have the right interpersonal skills to share/collaborate with peers
• You have the skills to mentor and inspire a small software development team, providing architectural guidance, code reviews, etc.
• Based in Belgium
