Job summary

Logent in Belgium is seeking a hands-on Logistics Team Leader to guide a team of operators in daily tasks, ensuring correct task assignment and monitoring performance. You’ll oversee quality, safety and efficiency of the logistics process and train new employees to feel at home.

You’ll identify improvement opportunities, proactively contribute ideas for optimization and report team results to the Shift Leader. Fluency in English required; automotive experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a manager in a logistics environment (automotive experience a plus).
• Clear communication, ability to motivate, and willingness to adjust when needed.
• Maintains a clear overview during peak periods.
• Hands-on, willing to pitch in where needed.
• Proactive, solution-oriented thinking.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• You’ll manage and work together with a team of operators and guide them in their daily tasks.
• You ensure tasks are assigned correctly and monitor performance.
• You oversee the quality, safety, and efficiency of the logistics process.
• You train and support new employees so they quickly feel at home.
• You identify opportunities for improvement and proactively contribute ideas for optimization.
• You report on team results to the Shift Leader and assist with reporting.
