Job summary

BontexGeo Group in Belgium is seeking a warehouse operator to support unloading and loading operations, verify transport documents, and ensure safe handling of goods.

You will perform stock counts, manage pallets, label shipments, and work in a shift system with emphasis on safety and accuracy. The role offers comprehensive training and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Welcome transporters and check delivery/loading documents.
• Unload trucks and inspect goods for safety and defects.
• Load trucks and ensure shipments are properly secured.
• Sort return pallets and check return documents.
• Label rolls with shipping labels and prepare for shipment.
• Store and move rolls/pallets in racks.
• Monitor storage locations and identify irregularities.
• Maintain stock counts and record movements on the stock list.

Job description

• You welcome the transporters and check their delivery or loading documents
• You are responsible for unloading the trucks and checking whether the goods can be unloaded safely and whether the goods have any defects
• You are responsible for loading trucks and checking whether the shipment is properly secured before departure
• You are responsible for sorting out customers’ return pallets and/or tubes and checking return documents
• You make sure that the rolls are covered with shipping labels so that the order is ready for shipment
• You are responsible for storing and moving rolls/pallets in racks
• You monitor whether rolls are stored in the right locations and in the right way and identify irregularities
• You are responsible for the stock count and record all physical movements on the received stock list
