Job summary

ACENSI Belgium seeks a Linux & Splunk System Engineer to maintain Linux-based infrastructure and lead Splunk operations. You will implement data onboarding, dashboards, and alerts while driving automation and reliability.

The role emphasizes incident resolution, performance tuning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant systems within the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of IT operations experience in Linux-based infrastructure.
• At least 2 years hands-on Splunk administration in production.
• Proficiency in Dutch or French with professional English.
• Experience onboarding data sources via Universal/Heavy Forwarders and apps.
• Knowledge of SPL, dashboards, alerts, and data parsing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Linux-based infrastructure and Splunk services with minimal downtime.
• Design, implement, and optimize Splunk solutions and data onboarding.
• Automate configurations using scripting and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure, compliant operations.
• Participate in R&D to evaluate Splunk capabilities and integrations.
