Pauwels Consulting seeks a Linux/Splunk Engineer to support and optimize critical European infrastructure from Brussels in a hybrid work model. You will manage Red Hat Linux systems, administer Splunk, and drive automation across monitoring, data onboarding, and incident response.

The role requires 4+ years in enterprise Linux, 2+ years with Splunk, and proficiency in Bash or Python. Fluency in English and Dutch or French is expected, with other ITIL-aligned responsibilities included.

Competenze

• 4+ years experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux infrastructure in large-scale enterprise environments.
• 2+ years experience with Splunk administration, including production support and platform health monitoring.
• Strong experience with Ansible Automation Platform for playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Practical knowledge of Red Hat Satellite 6.x for provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in SPL for searches, dashboards, alerts, and operational troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git-based workflows using GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Podman or OCI containers and container lifecycle operations.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python for monitoring and remediation automation.
• Experience in ITIL processes: incident, problem, and change management.
• Fluent in English with professional or native proficiency in Dutch or French.
