Job summary

Spektrum Labs, Inc. is seeking a skilled cyber security professional to support NATO NCIA operations in Mons, Belgium. You will administer guards and data diodes, manage cross-domain data flows, and automate routine tasks to ensure secure, reliable services.

Qualifications include 3+ years in cyber security, Linux admin (RHEL), Bash/Python/Ansible scripting, and firewall/hardening expertise (SELinux). Onsite work with potential limited remote arrangements under policy.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years practical experience in cyber security or related field.
• Proven expertise in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred).
• Strong scripting/automation skills with Bash, Python, Ansible.
• Knowledge of firewalls and system hardening (SELinux).
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting network security issues.
• Good stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP or GIAC Security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Central system administration and configuration of guards and data diodes for availability.
• Adaptation of release markings and email attachment types.
• Configuration of cross-domain data flows and user access management.
• Monitor system performance and availability; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop automation scripts for routine system tasks.
• Update guards and data diode software/patches; monitor releases.
• Test new software, patches; support A2SL process for approvals.
• Document systems; develop SOPs and maintain comprehensive records.
• Provide technical support and guidance for secure cross-domain data exchange.
