Job summary

Spektrum Labs, Inc. is seeking experienced engineers to support NATO and NCIA projects from its Belgium-based operations. The role emphasizes systems engineering, MBSE, and complex ICT/CIS integration across multiple domains including cyber security, network, and satellite communications.

Ideal candidates will bring a decade of engineering experience, proficiency in English, and a track record of delivering end-to-end system architectures and technical guidance for mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant professional engineering experience with complex ICT/CIS, defence, aerospace or highly integrated systems.
• Experience in Systems Engineering and/or Solution Architecture for complex systems.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including ability to produce and review complex technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational, functional and project requirements and translate them into implementable DCIS solutions.
• Define overall technical solution and system architecture using established DCIS taxonomies.
• Ensure end-to-end functionality and emergent behaviour of the system.
• Perform technical trade-off analyses considering performance, interoperability, security, deployability, resilience, maintainability, cost and maturity.
• Apply MBSE throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Map project requirements against models and guidelines.
• Maintain Node architecture, interfaces and roadmap across modules and services.
• Coordinate across domains to deliver integrated, coherent solutions.
