Job summary

Spektrum is seeking a seasoned cyber security contractor to support NATO NCIA client projects from a hybrid setup in Belgium. You will administer security controls, monitor and harden systems, and help ensure secure cross-domain data exchange in line with established policies.

The role requires 3+ years in cyber security, with hands-on experience in scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible), firewalls, SELinux, and network analysis (TCP/IP).

Qualifications

• 3+ years practical experience in cyber security or related field.
• Scripting/Automation with Bash, Python, Ansible.
• Experience with firewalls and network security devices.
• System security, including hardening and SELinux.
• System monitoring and troubleshooting.
• TCP/IP protocols and services.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Very good communication and analytical skills.
• Certifications in cyber security (CISM, CISSP or GIAC) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Central system administration and configuration of Guards and Data Diodes to ensure continuing functionality and availability.
• Implementation and verification of guards and data diode configuration to meet customer cross-domain data exchange requirements.
• Configuration of additional cross-domain flows and user/access management; patch and update management.
• Development of SOPs and other documentation for repetitive activities.
• Operational support of Guards and Data Diodes and collaboration with other teams to resolve issues.
