Job summary

Axis Group, a specialized life insurer, seeks a Life Business & Fund Expert to support the Director of Insurance within the Life Insurance department. You combine fund management, financial control, reporting, and process improvement to enhance operations.

You will monitor investment funds, drive automation, deliver quarterly/regulatory reports, and collaborate with asset managers and external partners while taking initiative and shaping the department's development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant economics/financial field.
• At least 5 years in life insurance or related activities.
• Knowledge of Branch 23, fund management and financial reporting.
• Excellent Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Hands-on mindset and initiative in automation projects.
• Ability to advise management and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, audit, and value internal collective funds.
• Prepare, verify, and submit fund orders.
• Perform accounting audits and reconcile assets/liabilities.
• Monitor returns, risks, ESG criteria, and investment strategies.
• Draft quarterly and semi-annual reports and regulatory filings.
• Maintain contact with asset managers and custodian banks.
• Identify discrepancies and propose improvements.
• Participate in automation and optimization initiatives.
• Support colleagues with expertise and serve as a sounding board.
• Collaborate on reporting, performance, and operational efficiency projects.
• Gradually take on responsibilities within Life Insurance and work with the Director of Insurance.
