Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a Manager Lending to lead the modernization of lending operations in the banking sector. You will drive process optimization, AI integration, and ESG alignment while guiding clients through regulatory changes and data-driven decision making.

You will manage projects, mentor junior consultants, and help grow BDO's Lending practice across client engagements, delivering measurable improvements and value.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in banking, consulting or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of lending for B2C and B2B.
• Experience with process optimization, RPA and AI.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong English; other language proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve existing lending processes.
• Optimize applications and lending systems for efficiency.
• Identify automation and AI opportunities in lending processes.
• Translate business needs into actionable software requirements.
• Integrate ESG principles into lending offerings and processes.
• Stay updated on new legislation and regulatory changes.
• Lead projects, mentor junior consultants, and grow the Lending practice.
