Pauwels Consulting is seeking a versatile Legal Counsel to join its internal team in Brugge. The role combines strategic legal guidance with practical support across technology, privacy, and commercial law, in a hybrid work setup.

Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating IT licensing and data processing contracts, delivering pragmatic advice to internal stakeholders, and leading legal projects from start to finish. Fluency in Dutch and French with good English is required.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Law.
• Solid foundation in contract and obligations law.
• Familiarity with IT/IP law, GDPR and AI legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and review IT licensing, service delivery and data processing contracts.
• Provide business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Manage legal projects end-to-end.
• Support team lead with reporting and coordination.
• Serve as a first point of contact for legal inquiries.

Our client, a leading service provider, is looking for a versatile Legal Counsel to join their internal team. The role offers a blend of strategic guidance and operational legal support, with a focus on technology regulations, privacy, and general commercial law.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review a diverse range of agreements, including IT licensing, service delivery, and data processing contracts.
• Deliver pragmatic and business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders across the organization.
• Manage and execute various legal projects autonomously from start to finish.
• Support the legal team lead with reporting and departmental coordination.
• Act as an accessible point of contact for legal inquiries within the organization.

Requirements

• You possess a Master’s degree in Law.
• You bring a solid foundation in contract and obligations law.
• You have a demonstrated affinity with or knowledge of IT law, IP law, GDPR, and AI legislation.
• You're proactive, communicative, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French with a comfortable command of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of or interest in Tax Law.
