Job summary

• 10+ years in systems development with leadership exposure.
• Proven data engineering and software development practices.
• Hands-on experience with a Data Management Platform.
• Strong Java 11/17 and scripting skills; CI/CD and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Own technical vision for core Data Management Platform components.
• Drive design decisions and participate in design reviews.
• Evolve platform for capacity, performance, security and governance.
• Define engineering standards and reference architectures for data pipelines.
• Ensure delivery of cross-team initiatives with risk management.
• Maintain operational excellence: observability, monitoring and reliability.
• Lead and coach engineers, promoting craftsmanship and autonomy.
• Coordinate work across contributors and foster knowledge sharing.
