DEME Group is seeking a Lead Engineer - New Builds in the Fleet Investments department to steer engineering from concept to construction support for new build vessels and asset development projects. You will coordinate inputs from naval architecture to automation, ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering with multidisciplinary focus.
• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating across domains.
• Strong communication with technical experts and stakeholders.
• Ability to structure complex problems and drive pragmatic solutions.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities for new build vessels and asset development.
• Act as primary counterpart of the Project Manager to translate requirements into feasible solutions.
• Coordinate disciplines such as naval architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, and automation.
• Manage internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Ensure design reflects requirements and can be executed during construction.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation actions.
• Support transition from design to construction with shipyards and contractors.
• Lead smaller projects independently with planning and resource coordination.
• Coach and guide a team of engineers (2–10) for quality deliverables.
• Maintain structured engineering planning with milestones and interfaces.
