DEME Group is seeking a Project Manager - New Builds to oversee end-to-end delivery of large investment projects, from concept to fleet integration. This role involves coordinating across engineering, finance, and operations, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and performance targets are met.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and travel to project sites and shipyards worldwide, with on-site presence during key execution phases.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering and 15+ years of total work experience.
• 6+ years in advanced project management within complex technical environments (maritime/offshore/construction).
• Strong analytical and hands-on approach to manage multi-disciplinary complexity.
• Demonstrated budget management, planning, and risk assessment on large-scale projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence diverse teams.
• Natural leader capable of driving projects forward in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and shipyards worldwide or be onsite for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Lead the full lifecycle of new build and investment projects from concept to handover.
• Define, monitor, and steer scope, budget, and planning with deviations managed proactively.
• Ensure technical performance by working with engineering teams and validating key decisions.
• Take ownership of budget follow-up and identify cost drivers with mitigations.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules with critical path analysis.
• Coordinate and align internal and external stakeholders as the central contact.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and mobilize expertise across phases.
• Provide structured reporting to Business Units and senior stakeholders.
• Support stage gate reviews with high-quality project insights.
• Ensure strong on-site presence during execution and shipyard visits.
