Onetouch Technology is seeking a design engineer to lead the application of our integrated photonics platform to high-speed optical circuit switching. This lead role spans photonics design, electronics design, and system-level design, owning the switching demonstrator from prototype toward a product.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in photonics or high-speed integrated systems.
• Experience with silicon photonics platforms (SOI, SiN) and PIC design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently in fast-moving R&D.
• Experience recruiting for technical/engineering roles.

Responsabilités

• Lead photonics design, electronics design, and system-level design for the HISP platform switching demonstrator.
• Translate market needs into technical requirements and steer platform evolution.
• Innovate optical switch architectures and related control circuits to address bottlenecks.
• Design and analyze fast switching control loops, bias control, and calibration schemes.
• Build prototypes, run demonstrations, document results, and present to teams and partners.
