Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Belgium is seeking a Lead Design Engineer to coordinate multidisciplinary installation design teams across process Industries. You will drive technical excellence and ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables for complex projects on site in Liège.

You hold an engineering degree and have 7+ years in installation design, with proven leadership of draughtsmen, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and automation profiles.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline and 7+ years in installation design for process industries.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design teams (draughtsmen/designers, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, automation).
• Strong experience in dimensioning industrial installations (equipment, tanks, pumps, valves, piping, automation, filtration).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to deliver installation design projects on schedule.
• Ensure technical quality and compliance of design deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and stakeholders to manage risks and keep projects on track.
