Agfa is seeking a Project Engineer Automation to own automation projects from concept to commissioning in a high-tech production environment. You will translate technical challenges into scalable hardware and software solutions, and stay hands-on while leading end-to-end projects on the shop floor.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation, reliability, and continuous improvement, with growth toward senior expert or project

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in automation, engineering, or a technical project environment.
• Strong interest in integrating hardware and software.
• Hands-on, analytical, and solution-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Lead automation projects from concept to implementation.
• Design and develop innovative hardware and software solutions.
• Optimize existing machines and processes to improve performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, maintenance).
• Ensure smooth implementation and support adoption on the shop floor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
