Job summary

ICsense Leuven is seeking an ASIC test team lead to drive high-quality test operations. The role involves hands-on test engineering, mentoring, and leading continuous improvement in the laboratory for IC validation across automotive, medical, and industrial sectors.

You will develop test hardware and software, coordinate lab improvements, and ensure data quality and reliability while collaborating with stakeholders and recruitment activities to attract new engineering talent.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electronics engineering.
• Several years of IC testing and test-facility experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Test Engineer by developing test hardware and software for IC testing and ensuring test quality and reliability.
• Be the primary point of contact for non-project matters within the team.
• Coordinate and follow-up laboratory improvement initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Improve test efficiency, reproducibility and data quality across projects.
• Guide the bench test team, provide feedback and coaching, and support development plans.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on relevant Confluence pages.
