Qualifications

• 1+ years building complex LLM-based systems with prompt engineering and agentic workflows.
• Ability to design meaningful evaluation methods, including custom metrics and frameworks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, Python; comfortable with production infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Actively follows AI research and applies new ideas to real problems.
• Empathy for learners and content creators; translate pedagogy into system behavior.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the core AI tutoring system, including prompt architectures and real-time adaptive behaviors.
• Run rigorous experimentation and evaluation, developing custom metrics and frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable software integrating AI with platform components.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with educators, content creators, and product teams.
• Prototype and productionize novel model interactions leveraging emerging research.
• Ensure quality, safety, and observability through monitoring and guardrails.
• Share knowledge and elevate teammates to foster a culture of clarity and learning.
