Challenge Group in Liège is seeking a Junior LCC Officer to strengthen the team based at Liège Liège Airport. The role oversees cargo availability, preparation, and readiness for turnaround activities, ensuring efficient load planning per airline manuals.

You will coordinate with Commercial, Ops, OCC, MCC, and CHH teams, manage escalations, verify safety and quality compliance, and act as the airline's representative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or foreign trade.
• Previous experience in air cargo is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in Liège and in an international group.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with logistics teams, GSAs, and handling agents to ensure timely cargo arrival and efficient flight preparation.
• Monitor cargo handling operations, including build-up progress, documentation, customs, security, and truck coordination.
• Ensure optimal flight capacity utilization by maximizing payload and volume.
• Identify operational challenges, provide solutions, and escalate issues when SLAs or targets are at risk.
• Support flight performance monitoring through reporting, KPI tracking, and data accuracy control.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational, and ground handling teams to ensure service quality and achievement of airline objectives.
• Supervise turnaround activities and support special operations when required.
• Maintain high standards of operational excellence, quality of build-up, and on-time performance (OTP).

We are looking fora LCCJunior officer to strengthen our team based in Liège.

Job Purpose:

The LCC Junior Officeroversees cargo availability, preparation, and readiness for turnaround activities, ensuring efficient load planning per the airline's weight and balance manuals.

Serving as the point of contact for cargo-related inquiries, she/he coordinates with Commercial, Ops, OCC, MCC, and CHH teams, managing escalations when necessary.

Additionally, she/he acts as the airline's representative to verify safety and quality in compliance with legal regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Junior LCC Officer, your key tasks will include:

• Coordinating with logistics teams, GSAs, and handling agents to ensure timely cargo arrival and efficient flight preparation
• Monitoring cargo handling operations, including build-up progress, documentation, customs, security, and truck coordination
• Ensuring optimal flight capacity utilization by maximizing payload and volume
• Identifying operational challenges, providing solutions, and escalating issues when service level agreements (SLAs) or operational targets are at risk
• Supporting flight performance monitoring through reporting, KPI tracking, and data accuracy control

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or foreign trade

Experience

• Previous experience in the air cargo industry is considered an advantage
